Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Ibenstein

Arrival & Warm Welcome: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the serene landscapes and diverse wildlife that make this reserve so special. Settle into your accommodations and take some time to relax before enjoying your first experience in the heart of nature.
Introduction and Horsemanship Demonstration: Experience an insightful horsemanship demonstration led by Sandor Miko. This session offers a deeper understanding of horse behavior, communication, and connection, providing an inspiring introduction to his method.

Days 2–5: Safari Rides and Connection

Over the next few days, you’ll immerse yourself in the wild

beauty of Ibenstein Game Reserve. Each day offers new

opportunities to explore, connect, and share memorable

experiences.

Safari Outrides: Embark on daily horseback safaris, riding across the reserve’s plains and bushland in search of wildlife. These rides allow you to encounter animals in their natural habitat.
Liberty Horsemanship Lesson: Building on Sandor’s Day 1 demonstration, you’ll participate in a hands-on horsemanship session. This is your chance to apply what you have learnt, and ask questions to deepen your knowledge and confidence.
Yoga: On one day take part in a unique outdoors yoga session with a scenic view. The class is designed to relax the muscles used during riding and ended by a rejuvenating relaxation session.
Bush Dining Experiences: Savor extraordinary meals in the heart of nature: rustic bush lunches, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness, and enchanting bush dinners by the bonfire.

Day 6: Depart for Sossusvlei

Exploring the towering red dunes and the otherworldly

Deadvlei, where ancient trees stand against a striking

desert backdrop. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge in

the area.

Day 7: Travel west to the coast

Arriving in the charming seaside town of Swakopmund by

afternoon. Enjoy time to relax, explore the town’s

attractions. In the evening, we gather for a dinner at a fine

restaurant.

Day 8: Explore the Coast

Begin the day with a boat cruise in Walvis Bay, where you may

encounter dolphins, seals, and a variety of seabirds. Continue

with an unforgettable full-day Sandwich Harbour excursion,

exploring the dramatic meeting point of towering dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. Return to Swakopmund for a delightful evening dinner.

Day 9: Depart for the airport

After saying goodbye to each other, the 400 km journey to the

airport takes approximately five hours, offering final views of

Namibia’s vast and changing landscapes.
